Pulmonary Function Testing (Spirometry)

   Pulmonary function is a basic test performed to measure lung function. It tests your ability to move air into and out of the lungs. One breathes in and out as quickly as possible through a measurement device on the spirometer. This test can play an important role in the pre-employment screening. Repeated spirometric testing is used for surveillance of workers at risk of developing occupational lung disease.
